Email Outage: Sept. 6 - 9

The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services migrated email services over the weekend and staff were unable to send or receive messages from 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 until 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9. Thank you for your patience as our team works to respond to any messages received during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we make this transition to better serve you in the future.

ePermitting is designed to work best using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome on a personal computer. Users may also find that ePermitting works on tablets, but we do not recommend accessing it on a phone.

Before you request ePermitting assistance, please confirm the following:

  • You have an active ePermitting account and you have completed the verification steps that were emailed to you
  • You have signed in using the correct username and password
  • You checked to see if ePermitting was working in a different browser (ePermitting works best in Edge)
  • You are an authorized user for the site that you are trying to access
  • You have selected the appropriate site (YouTube)
  • You are not having issues visiting other scdhec.gov webpages
  • You have internet access
  • You are accessing ePermitting within the United States
  • You have closed and restarted the browser you are using
  • You have restarted your computer
