Email Outage: Sept. 6 - 9

The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services will be migrating email services and staff will be unable to send or receive messages from 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 until 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9. Phone calls and text messages will not be interrupted during the email outage. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition to better serve you in the future.

Please be informed that the Bureau of Air Quality (BAQ) has transitioned to ePermitting as of February 8, 2023. As a result, the status of BAQ applications received and BAQ application decisions found in the Environmental Application Tracker is no longer current.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and the Department will be working to provide a replacement in the future. Should you require further assistance concerning if  BAQ has received an application, please call 803-898-4123 and ask for the permit writer on call.  

The environmental application tracker provides information on the status of environmental applications received within the last 2 years and application decisions made within the last 2 years by the Bureau of Air Quality, Bureau of Water, Bureau of Land and Waste Management, and Division of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management.
