SRF Call for Projects | South Carolina Department of Environmental Services

The State Revolving Fund (SRF) program provides financial assistance through low-interest loans and principal forgiveness funding for the planning, design, and construction of Clean Water and Drinking Water infrastructure projects. The Clean Water SRF finances all types of sewer facilities including treatment plants, collection systems, and stormwater improvements for environmental and growth needs. The Drinking Water SRF finances water supply and distribution facilities needed to achieve or maintain compliance with drinking water regulations. The program is run by the SC Department of Health Environmental Services (SCDES) and the SC Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA).

The SRF program accepts Project Questionnaires (PQs) throughout the year. To be considered for the next funding year, new PQs must be submitted by March 15, 2024.
