Rebecca began working with the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control in 2001 as an inspector with the Underground Storage Tank Program. In 2002, she became the compliance coordinator and began working directly with tank owners and operators to provide compliance assistance and assist with understanding of the regulations. Rebecca served in that role until 2005 when she moved to EQC Administration as the Enforcement and Compliance Assistance Liaison. She worked internally on processes and consistency within the enforcement programs. She also planned multiple compliance assistance workshops and conferences, including the very successful Environmental Assistance Conference.

Throughout Rebecca's time with the agency, her customer service skills have always been at the forefront, and she began to take on a role of working more with the Office of Legislative Affairs in 2016. She began handling constituent inquiries to ensure quick responses and updates and she now oversees the Office of Constituent Services. Rebecca brings a meaningful perspective to both our external and internal customers with her ability to listen and work towards solutions.

She is a graduate of Lander University with a bachelor's degree in biology.
