White Tract Phase 2 Single Family Residential Public Meeting/Hearing

SCDES is seeking input on the proposed application from Pulte Home Company, LLC to disturb land to facilitate construction of 124 single family homes and associated infrastructure. SCDES invites interested people to an informational session, public hearing, and/or to provide written comments. The informational public meeting will include:
SCDES’s role in the proposed application and applicable regulatory requirements for the pending application
Scope of the proposed project and brief description of stormwater controls for the site

July 14, 2025, 6 pm, Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center, 5821 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429
Procedures: An informational public meeting to share information and answer questions will begin at 6 pm and will be followed by a formal public hearing beginning at 7 pm. The hearing will be conducted by a hearing officer. Oral and written comments will be accepted. Oral presentations may be limited to a fixed, reasonable amount of time. The number of representatives that may make oral statements on behalf of any individual or organized group may be limited.

Public comments may be provided at the hearing or submitted directly into SCDES’s ePermitting Portal until July 23, 2025.
