Annual Recertification
All volunteers wishing to enter data into the SC AAS database must recertify annually to keep an active certification. Annual recertification helps SC AAS generate high-quality and reliable data. When your initial certification is due to expire you can recertify online using the Canvas recertification course or by attending another in person workshop.
Use this link to access the online recertification course offered through Canvas.
- If this is your first time registering with Canvas, be sure to register using the same email as used in the SC AAS database.
- If you are a returning user or a Clemson affiliate (have a CUID), click the recertification link and log in to your Canvas to account to accept the course invite.
Please email scaas@des.sc.gov for assistance if you need help figuring out when your certification expires, registering for the online course, updating your database contact information, or anything else.
This online recertification is only for volunteers who have previously attended an in-person workshop and have an account in the SC AAS database. Please only complete the recertification for monitoring types you have been certified in at an in-person workshop.
